Welcome to the space within my brain, that even I don’t understand. The colors stream into paths, connecting symbols and markings, objects and spaces. The space is represented through acrylic drips and strictly selected palettes. If you stand close enough, you can see the markings made by a little paint pen. Maybe it is a house, maybe it is a face, and maybe it is nothing at all. A mystery is left for you, reader, to enjoy and ponder. The canvas or panel is layered with ideas and thoughts, that are created in a state of enjoyment and freedom. An idea that contains a multitude of thoughts that even I don’t fully comprehend. We are on a journey of self-discovery and with that discovery, are constantly changing and shifting.

Susanne Tabet to niemiecka współczesna malarka abstrakcyjna, która mieszka i pracuje w Falls Church w Wirginii. Samouk zaczęła malować mając dwadzieścia kilka lat, kiedy wizyta w Tate Modern w Londynie rozbudziła jej pragnienie odtworzenia charakterystycznych abstrakcyjnych kobiecych portretów Amedeo Modiglianiego. Kontynuowała naukę i eksplorację dzieł innych wielkich mistrzów w dziedzinie abstrakcyjnego ekspresjonizmu, a przez lata rozwijała i ewoluowała swoje umiejętności i charakterystyczny styl osobisty. Koncentruje się na kobiecej formie, którą ożywia kontrastowymi kolorami i odważnymi, energicznymi pociągnięciami pędzla. Jej portrety emanują siłą i wrażliwością. Zdaniem Susanne Tabet odzwierciedlenie złożoności, piękna i siły kobiety.
