Ghibli Studios has been a popular, worldwide name in the animation industry for as long as almost 20 years! Their movies commonly surround the themes of childhood, friendships, and fantasy; and are highly praised for their diverse artwork and beautifully composed music among their films. These themes of fiction have created characters and sceneries that so many children have grown attached to; which is the overall purpose of why artists are so eager to recreate these animations.
When it comes to illustrating a mood, color palettes are essential. In Whisper of the Heart, a coming-of-age romance film; Ghibli Studios perfectly captures the emotions of a blooming fall romance through contrasting warm and cold shades.
So if you're feeling nostalgic, or you just have an urge to whip out on your pens and paints, go ahead and create a #ghibliredraw! Don't forget to have a Ghibli film or soundtrack playing in the background. It's simply mandatory!
