How to get your art noticed

Figure out your style

Learn what artwork makes you successful and happy. Being able to establish yourself with a particular style enables audiences to make a connection between your art and yourself. Whether your style is what medium you work in, your inspiration behind your work or anything else, having a set style makes a huge difference.

Find artist communities

It's always a good thing to continue learning and a great way to do this is to surround yourself with other like minded people. You may learn new methods to share your work, new styles, and even new trends to follow in the art world.

Be accessible

The internet can be an amazing thing. Utilizing social media and building an artist portfolio online can go a long way to getting your name out there. Any way that allows viewers to see your work and have a grasp of who you are as an artist is vital. This is also a very cost-effective way to display yourself, obviously social media accounts like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter are free, but you can make a portfolio on Google Sites for free.

Market yourself

Don’t be afraid to talk about yourself and your work. Remember art is for everyone, and you never know what kinds of connections you can make.
