What do you aim to say by the themes in your work?
I like painting happy scenes, where a man loves a woman, where Nature is beautiful, sunny.I like painting the sea, sailing boats, my cat, etc. I don't want to paint the world as it is (mean, cruel, damaged,..)
Where does your inspiration come from?
My inspiration comes from my numerous travels around the world but also from my readings, from the music I listen to, from the poems I memorized,etc
How would you describe your creative process?
I am very creative, I paint each day, I spend most of my days either drawing or painting. I need to create art to be sound and happy.
What is integral to your work as an artist?
I value some virtues like kindness, honesty, truth,..
Do you have any experiences that have impacted your art?
My whole life has impacted my art: I decided to become an artist at an early age, knowing it would be difficult but nothing else matters more to me. It was a way to survive in a tormented world, it still is.
What advice do you have for aspiring artists?
Young aspiring artists should spend less time admiring other people's work and should concentrate on their own emotions.
