Interviews
Ekaterina Kuzmina
What do you aim to say by the themes in your art?
I want to remind you once again that the material world is just the tip of the iceberg. That a huge layer of control over these processes is beyond our understanding. Although we always feel it's presence with our sixth sense.
Where does your inspiration come from?
In nature a state of tranquility and balance comes. My favorite place when I come up with some ideas: on the road after visiting a forest or river. Exhibitions, museums, good books are also a source of inspiration.
Do you have any experiences that have impacted your art?
In some paintings I show my associations with time, for example, "Seasons", "Day and Night"
Do you feel your art challenges existing barriers?
I really do not like rules, boundaries and barriers, except for universal human morality. But in my work, I have not yet touched on this topic.
What are your long-term artistic goals?
I would like my paintings to be included in the best museums in the world)
What advice do you have for aspiring artists?
I don't think I am smarter than aspiring artists. If they become artists, then they have something to say to the world.
