With no formal training, and a background in biology, Michael draws his artistic talent from his relatives on his mother’s side who are artists. He learned to draw when he was young but now sees his art as a day to day
process that is constantly evolving, especially working with the abstract genre. In addition to painting, he is currently working on developing a signature portfolio and strong online presence for his work. Artistic wise, he is influenced by van Gogh, Matisse, Pollock and the works of Nietzche. He encourages and welcomes feedback regarding his art. At this time, Michael is currently taking on commission work and working to build a signature style and outlook. All in all, Michael sees his art as a form of expression allowing him to connect with others and the surrounding world. Michael has been active since 2013 and has art around the country, a few published pieces and a piece in Europe. In addition to this, he has donated pieces to local establishments and has a handful of private collectors.
